Hi there! Welcome to OC Canine Academy, we are so glad you found us and would like to welcome you to the beginning of a new journey of growth in the relationship between you and your dog.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between frustration and confidence, one dog at a time. With that comes a new standard of expectation with calculated effort of education and fun for you and your dog. Our goal is to help bring tangible progress and hope in the lives of our clients and their dog to cultivate a level of trust and confidence that is priceless up and down leash. We know this is a big step and it’s all about finding the right person who can effectively communicate to you and be as helpful as possible. Of course nobody wants to just give their dog to a stranger and cross their fingers so here’s some more information and testimonies about our training staff.
Our Services

We offer private in home private trainings in all of Orange County. It allows for the opportunity to work one-on-one with the dog trainer and the owner to make sure every problem behavior is addressed, goals can be set without distraction with an in-depth personalized approach for education between each dog and owner.
Private trainings are one hour, at the clients home or public location so the trainer can work with the dog as well as the dog owner to maximize education and longterm sustainability in the future relationship between you and your dog. This service is most recommended and effective because if the owner doesn’t change, the dog won’t either!

Board and trains are a one to two weeks of intensive foundation building. It allows for round the clock maintenance and observation to help lay the building blocks of new habits and skills your dog will be bringing back home.
Feeding, boarding, walks, and socialization will be provided where the trainer can be monitoring behavior in all situations and conditioning accordingly. Jumping when arriving home, barking when separated, walks around the neighborhood, reactivity, routine social interactions in public, and every part of you and your dogs daily life will be simulated to expose your dog to real life scenarios.
All of this follows by 2, hour and a half in home sessions with the owner so we can go over how to maintain these new skills long term and set you up for success!
